What is IEP? IEP Stands for Individualized Education Program. The IEP is the cornerstone of a quality education for each child with a disability. To create an effective IEP, parents, teachers, other school staff and often the student must come together to look closely at the student's unique needs.
Students on IEP will be put to Special Day Classes (SDC)
Our Special Day Classes are limited to: Physical Education 6 (Regular PE), Math Basic, Elective of Choice, Reading/Language Arts Basic, Social Studies Basic, and Science Basic. These Courses are designed to help all IEP Students have a chance to succeed.
What is a Special Day Class (SDC)? Full-day classes for students with learning disabilities, speech and/or language impairments, serious emotional disturbances, cognitive delays, and a range of other impairments. Classes are taught by certified special education teachers.
