What is a 504 Plan? The 504 Plan is a plan developed to ensure that a child who has a disability identified under the law and is attending an elementary or secondary educational institution receives accommodations that will ensure their academic success and access to the learning environment.
Students in the 504 Plan will be put in Regular Classes but Will have Less Work. Students in the 504 Plan also have the Option to Get out of class and go to their Counselor. You will need to tell your Teacher that You're feeling Scared to go to class or You don't want to do this Assignment. Your Teacher will then need to Write you a Pass to go to your Counselor. If your teacher isn't following directions, Please Contact an administrator.
